Advancement Associate

SUPERVISOR: Director of Advancement & Community Engagement
SCHEDULE: 20 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Excellent writing and editing skills, including an impeccable attention to detail. ● Strong organizational skills, including an ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects. ● Experience with donor databases. ● High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. ● Comfort with technology and ability to learn new technologies quickly. ● High level of independence, teamwork, creativity, flexibility, and willingness to do the hands-on work necessary to implement projects. ● Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends, as required. ● Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or development role required. ● Understanding of and commitment to the mission of the NWW Committee.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Advancement Associate is a half-time (20 hrs/week) position that provides direct support to the Director of Advancement & Community Engagement in the implementation of the NWW Committee’s comprehensive fundraising program and communications plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES ● Assist the organization’s marketing efforts, fundraising strategies and events. ● Work closely with the Director of Advancement & Community Engagement to implement email, social media, and other written communications such as newsletters, appeals and brochures. ● Manage the donor database and utilize it to create queries, contact lists, monitor financial results, and process donations. ● Assist with outreach and fundraising events. ● Strategize fundraising and outreach communications and events with senior management. ● Maintain and update the organization’s website and social media.

Asleep Overnight Staff

SUPERVISOR: Program Manager, Case Manager and Weekend Manager
SCHEDULE: full or part-time, to be determined **
QUALIFICATIONS: High School degree and Human Service experience preferred; Massachusetts Driver's License; First Aid and CPR training, MAP certification preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES ● Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the NWW Personnel Policies and Procedures and the NWW Policies to Promote Human Dignity. ● Ensure the safe evacuation of all residents during an emergency evacuation or test. ● Complete all documentation responsibilities and maintain the confidentiality of all information relating to the individuals supported by NWW. ● Assist residents during the night as needed and/or assigned by supervisor(s). ● Participate in agency and Department of Developmental Services training programs as required. ● Participate in the maintenance of house, grounds, furnishings and equipment. ● Take direction from the Program Manager and participate in program and personnel evaluations.

RESPONSIBILITIES ● Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the NWW Personnel Policies and Procedures and the NWW Policies to Promote Human Dignity. ● Ensure the safe evacuation of all residents during an emergency evacuation or test. ● Complete all documentation responsibilities and maintain the confidentiality of all information relating to the individuals supported by NWW. ● Complete assigned nighttime duties and tasks as directed by supervisor(s), including monitoring of individuals throughout the night and care of the home. ● Participate in agency and Department of Developmental Services training programs as required. ● Participate in the maintenance of house, grounds, furnishings and equipment. ● Assist residents with morning routines including assistance with activities of daily living and medication administration. ● Take direction from the Program Manager and participate in program and personnel evaluations.

SCHEDULE: Less than or greater than 32 hours per week includes evenings, weekend and overnight hours.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School degree and Human Service experience preferred; Massachusetts Driver's License; First Aid and CPR training, MAP certification.
RESPONSIBILITIES ● Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the NWW Personnel Policies and Procedures and the NWW Policies to Promote Human Dignity. ● Participate in the implementation responsibilities of ISP programs designed to develop and/or maintain personal competencies. ● Complete all documentation responsibilities and maintain the confidentiality of all information relating to the individuals supported by NWW. ● Participate in agency and Department of Developmental Services training programs as requested. ● Participate in the maintenance of house, grounds, furnishings and equipment. ● Take direction from the Program Manager and participate in program and personnel evaluations.
