Assistant Program Director

SUPERVISOR: Program Manager
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years’ experience in the human services field preferred.  Commitment to the empowerment of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities;  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.  The ideal candidate works well independently, and on a team and can prioritize multiple tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES ● Schedule and approve staffing to provide 24/7 coverage at the home. ● Ensure that all consumers’ health care and dietary needs are being met through food shopping and menu coordination.  ● Maintain a thorough knowledge of consumers’ financial resources, including government benefits, housing subsidies and other resources that they may be entitled to. ● Ensure that all safety programs and policies are communicated to staff and are implemented and practiced consistently, including ensuring all safety plans are accurate and current. ● Ensure ISP plans are developed and implemented in accordance with NWW and DDS guidelines. ● Monitor and schedule medical/dental appointments for each person in the home. ● Maintain all program records according to established guidelines. ● Maintain financial accounts and budgetary guidelines in conjunction with the NWW Business Office.
COMPENSATION:  Compensation begins at $38K annually ($18.25 per hour) and will commensurate with experience.  A valid Massachusetts Driver’s License is required.

Staffing Coordinator

SUPERVISOR: Program Director
SCHEDULE: 32 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred; ideal candidate will be organized, a self-starter and able to juggle a variety of task in a high-pressure environment. Commitment to the empowerment of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Since 1972 NWW Committee has served individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families by providing permanent housing, support services and advocacy. We are seeking a full-time staffing coordinator to work 32 hours per week, to coordinate all aspects of NWW Committee’s residential staffing.  Duties consist of coordinating hiring, including but not limited to reviewing resumes, identifying qualified applicants, scheduling interviews and checking references. In addition, the staffing coordinator will over-see all employee on-boarding tasks as required by the agency guidelines and state law.  Finally, the staffing coordinator will be responsible for scheduling 24-hour residential staff to ensure coverage is available for each shift.   Interested candidates should have dynamic organizational skills, and strong computer and interpersonal skills. 
RESPONSIBILITIES ● Coordinate hiring, including but not limited to reviewing resumes, identifying qualified applicants, and scheduling interviews and checking references. ● Over-see all employee on-boarding tasks as required by the agency guidelines and state law, including but not limited to finger printing requirements, CORI and driver certification. ● In collaboration with Program staff, schedule 24-hour residential staff to ensure coverage is available for each shift. ● Schedule and track required staff trainings. ● Provide administrative support to the management team. ● Additional tasks as identified.

Asleep Overnight Staff

QUALIFICATIONS: High School degree and Human Service experience preferred; Massachusetts Driver's License; First Aid and CPR training, MAP certification preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES ● Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the NWW Personnel Policies and Procedures and the NWW Policies to Promote Human Dignity. ● Ensure the safe evacuation of all residents during an emergency evacuation or test. ● Complete all documentation responsibilities and maintain the confidentiality of all information relating to the individuals supported by NWW. ● Assist residents during the night as needed and/or assigned by supervisor(s). ● Participate in agency and Department of Developmental Services training programs as required. ● Participate in the maintenance of house, grounds, furnishings and equipment. ● Take direction from the Program Manager and participate in program and personnel evaluations.

RESPONSIBILITIES ● Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the NWW Personnel Policies and Procedures and the NWW Policies to Promote Human Dignity. ● Ensure the safe evacuation of all residents during an emergency evacuation or test. ● Complete all documentation responsibilities and maintain the confidentiality of all information relating to the individuals supported by NWW. ● Complete assigned nighttime duties and tasks as directed by supervisor(s), including monitoring of individuals throughout the night and care of the home. ● Participate in agency and Department of Developmental Services training programs as required. ● Participate in the maintenance of house, grounds, furnishings and equipment. ● Assist residents with morning routines including assistance with activities of daily living and medication administration. ● Take direction from the Program Manager and participate in program and personnel evaluations.

RESPONSIBILITIES ● Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the NWW Personnel Policies and Procedures and the NWW Policies to Promote Human Dignity. ● Participate in the implementation responsibilities of ISP programs designed to develop and/or maintain personal competencies. ● Complete all documentation responsibilities and maintain the confidentiality of all information relating to the individuals supported by NWW. ● Participate in agency and Department of Developmental Services training programs as requested. ● Participate in the maintenance of house, grounds, furnishings and equipment. ● Take direction from the Program Manager and participate in program and personnel evaluations.
